We had a successful Tutorial day on June 10th at the beautiful Lydiard House near Swindon. We have been here for the last few years for the tutorial day, and some meetings too. There is a part of the house that is open to the public, although I have never found the time to go around it. There is also an accommodation block, very convenient for a 9:00 start in the morning if you don’t live locally. Feedback from the event showed a positive response to the location; tea and coffee are always available, and handmade cakes and biscuits arrive at suitable points.
We ran three tutorials this year, and all seemed to be well received (I haven’t checked all the feedback forms yet!). Previous years have also had a good response. If you missed it this year, then look out for the next one – there will be emails to members, reminders on Twitter and posts in our LinkedIn group.
The next major event in our UK calendar is ASEC – the Annual Systems Engineering Conference which will be at Heythrop Park on 17th – 18th November. There is a flyer on the website with details of costs and an outline schedule. The papers are currently under review, and a more detailed schedule will appear in due course. We look forward to seeing you there.
